VINYL SOUP is a Eclectic/Progressive Rock Band based out of Nashville, Tennessee.

With 2005 coming to a close, Andrew Hooker, Drewbud, and John Soward have created a recipe all their own. At the top of 2005 VINYL SOUP was armed and ready with a solid core group of musicians. Sowards arrival to the band proved to the band and its fans that VINYL SOUP was finally intact and ready to rev up its long journey that it would begin. With the ever changing challenges and competition of the music industry, the band decided to try a different approach, RADIO. With that said, VINYL SOUP signed on with Publicity and Radio promoter, Tinderbox Music based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Tinderbox helped VINYL SOUP receive over 281 college radio stations, 60 of which the band charted on or got heavy rotation! Following the radio campaign, VINYL SOUP headed out to Austin, TX in March of 05 to attend and perform at SXSW 2005.
